Stetson Law Offices, P.C.
Respecting the Past. Protecting the Future.

Stetson Law Offices, P.C. is a minority-owned professional corporation formed in 1997 by Catherine Baker Stetson, the former managing partner of Gover, Stetson, Williams, & West, P.C. The firm provides general legal services to tribes and tribal entities in many states, representing them in administrative, legislative, and judicial proceedings, sacred site protection and cultural preservation and in tribal, state, and federal forums. Areas in which we have the greatest interest and experience include lobbying and consultation on federal legislation, tribal commercial development and taxation, tribal environmental regulation, Indian gaming, and Indian housing. In 2008, we expanded our services to include financing and lending, and consultation in the arts, museums, and issues of cultural significance.

Our New Mexico office is in a conveniently-located adobe complex on Rio Grande Boulevard, close to Albuquerque's Old Town and within close driving distance to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Our conference facilities are available for meetings by appointment. Our Washington, DC and New York City offices are used primarily for our lobbying and banking activities.
