Introduction
Stetson Law Offices,
P.C.
Respecting the Past. Protecting the Future.

Stetson
Law Offices, P.C. is a minority-owned professional corporation formed
in 1997 by Catherine Baker Stetson, the former managing partner of
Gover, Stetson & Williams, P.C. We provide general legal services
to tribes and tribal entities in many states, representing them in
administrative, legislative, and judicial proceedings and in tribal,
state, and federal forums. Areas in which we have the greatest interest
and experience include lobbying and consultation on federal
legislation, tribal commercial development and taxation, tribal
environmental regulation, Indian gaming, and Indian housing. In 2008,
we expanded our services to include financing and lending, and
consulation in the arts, museums, and issues of cultural significance.
Our
New Mexico office is in a conveniently-located adobe complex on Rio
Grande Boulevard, close to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and
Albuquerque's Old Town. Our conference facilities are available for
meetings by appointment. Our Washington, DC and New York City offices
are used primarily for our lobbying and banking activities.
